The programme is for learners currently enrolled in secondary, tertiary education and even gap year students.
Shasha Bridge is fully delivered online using various tools such as WhatsApp, Zoom and Google Office suite. Participants are expected to have internet connectivity throughout the programme to ensure access to resources and sessions.
Shasha Bridge is self funded, successful applicants are expected to pay for the full cost of the 4-week programme. We may offer financial aid on the basis of merit or need to scholars that demonstrate leadership potential.
Our Career Champions are part of the expansive Shasha community of leaders, students from the world’s top universities, entrepreneurs and professionals. Shasha mentors come from over 30 different countries across the world.
At the end of the programme, scholars become part of our global network of champions. As alumni of the program, they continue to access peer mentors, webinars, events, career advancement opportunities and further training in specific key areas such as technology, intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship.
Our scholars are involved in a wide variety of fields, some have gone on to secure internships and placements with companies such as Deloitte. For those who advance to university, some have gotten admissions into top universities across the world in programs such as Yale NUS, African Leadership University, UWC etc. The entrepreneurial scholars have started ventures and non-for-profits in their community solving social issues and creating impact.
