Shandukurai Chiuswa

Shandukurai Chiuswa is a speaker and philanthropist. Shandu is set to commence her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, USA. She will be studying Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Social Work. Shandu is a recipient of the Joshua Nkomo Scholarship ’18 and an Opportunity Fund Program alumnus.

Jean Marie Uwimana

Jean Marie Uwimana is the 2020 recipient of the University of Southern Indiana’s President’s Medal. The medal is the highest honor presented to a graduating senior student. “This is not something that happens everyday. This is the first time we have had an international student achieve this award,” said Uwimana.
